Kelly Drifmeyer is the Associate Professor of Horn at the Crane School of Music, SUNY Potsdam. She is also brass faculty at the Interlochen Center for the Arts Summer Music Camp. Ms. Drifmeyer's current activities include Principal Horn of the Colorado Mahlerfest Orchestra, Principal Horn of the Orchestra of Northern New York, the Potsdam Brass Quintet, and performances with the Syracuse Symphony. Previous work includes performances with the Kansas City Symphony, the North Carolina Symphony, and the Orquesta Sinfónica Nacional in the Dominican Republic. Her chamber music experience includes previous tenures with the Detroit Chamber Winds and New Ear, a contemporary music ensemble. Ms. Drifmeyer is active as a clinician throughout the U.S. and Canada, and has been an adjudicator at the International Horn Competition of America since 2005. She received her B.M. from the Eastman School of Music and subsequently earned her M.M. from the University of Michigan.
