Suzanne Kantorski is an award-winning performing artist across multiple genres who frequently appears in principle operatic roles worldwide, in concert as a soloist, and in contemporary new music productions. She has been a featured guest on television programs in Europe while touring the production of Marcos Galvany's Oh My Son, and is currently in post-production for the feature film The Bohemians, based on Puccini's La Boheme, which is set for release in movie theatres internationally in the coming year. Ms. Kantorski is also a member of the innovative, Canadian based performance ensemble, Quintus 4, which is also slated to launch in late 2017. As a collegiate educator, music researcher, lecturer, and writer, Ms. Kantorski holds degrees from the Manhattan School of Music, and the Schulich School of Music of McGill University. She has been an invited guest for discussions and performances about opera, new music, and film, on nationally syndicated radio programs such as NPR's "Sound Check" with John Schaefer, WQXR with Brian Wise, and VPR's "Saturday Afternoon at the Opera." Ms. Kantorski is most passionate about collaborating with living composers, and on new projects that inspire modern audiences. This includes, site specific performing, music and technological balancing, and compositions with a contemporary social reflection.
